Synopsis
The patriarchy that takes away women's right to life is the same one that deforests the planet, which established, centuries ago, the taboo around menstruation and created the false sense of "freedom" of the tampons and pads companies, turning women into hostages of these industries. All these violent actions, unfortunately, are connected.
Dressed to Die 3 Times is a video-spell, an ode to the cycle of death-(re)birth-life, ancestry and mother nature. The artist draws a parallel between the 3 types of spilled blood: the menstrual blood, the blood of women killed by femicide and the “invisible blood”, that society throws daily into the environment. You've been bewitched!
